ABOUT ME

From a young age I was always passionate about performing and being a part of that world. I started professional dancing back home in The Philippines and from there I studied and became a freelance makeup artist and hair stylist working on many projects through the years in different countries.

After moving to Melbourne I began performing in drag under the stage name “Gigi Era” and when you come to a Gigi Era show expect lots of hairography, tricks, stunts and if you’re lucky maybe even some fire!

Performing in drag gave me the idea of Human Hair Wigs by Dave. The movement and lightweight nature while performing in a human hair cannot be beaten. My wigs are created with the intention of being worn on stage by drag performers, however I have also designed wigs that can be worn as everyday head pieces.

All the time and effort that goes into creating my company that started at home has really paid off and I can’t wait for you to see everything I have done and everything I am going to do.
